Eyewear & Hearing Protection

We’ve got you protected

Hearing Protection

Protection should be worn in work environments where noise levels exceed 85 decibels. In limited circumstances, a worker may be exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels without wearing hearing protection, but the acceptable duration of such an exposure will vary depending upon the noise level (in decibels).

Muffs

  • Useful for intermittent noisy work as they are quick and easy to put on and take off.
  • Their protection and comfort decrease over time. Muff cushions must be replaced when they lose flexibility or are damaged.

Plugs

  • Are light and comfortable for most users. But they have to be put in properly and your hands have to be clean to insert them.
  • Come in single-use or multiple-use types. Multiple-use types should be replaced often when working in contaminated environments

Eye protection

Protection should be used where there is a danger of flying objects, particles, liquids, sprays or other matter entering the eyes.

Protection can take many forms including:

  • Safety Glasses
  • Goggles
  • Full Face Protection

Eye protection can keep you from losing your sight and your ability to do your job.
